For colleges, universities, and HBCUs

Turn one semester into a licensed career.

YSGAL is the licensing provider. We bring the curriculum, the instructors, and the employer network. Your campus hosts the course, and your students leave with a state insurance license.

What YSGAL brings

A ready-to-run course

16 weeks at three hours a week: 40 hours of exam content and 8 hours of career preparation.

State-approved instructors

Taught by licensed insurance professionals approved to teach licensing courses.

Complete materials

Original slide decks, state law supplements, student and instructor manuals, and practice exams.

Employer connections

An employer panel, a site visit, employer day, and personal introductions through our network.

No new course required

Run it the way your campus works. Your campus decides whether it carries credit.

  • As its own class. One three-hour session a week for a semester.
  • Inside an existing course. Spread across a host course, such as two 90-minute blocks a week.
  • Outside the classroom. One live session a week, plus recorded lessons and practice.
